Lifeforms 25 year anniversary mix
Discovered all the samples here on the mix and be STUNNED! So much musical diversity and sheer ingenuity. Klaus Schulze, Tangerine dream, Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles and obscure SF samples which got me even more hooked on the album as FSOL only took 2-3 seconds of some samples and completely rearranged them and instead build up something altogether completely new.
It’s hard to describe in words but this album takes you on a journey, the sound production and mixing were way ahead of its time. This is what I would call a timeless album. To fully appreciate this music you need to devote enough time to listen to both discs in one sitting… Whether thats while you’re sleeping, surfing the web or even playing videogames. The result will be the same: you will be overcome by the world The Future Sound of London have created with this release.
